At the April 18 Stargate Board of Directors meeting, the School Accountability Committee reported the resignation of one of its parent members, Amanda Szymanski. 

It is expected that a new parent member will be appointed to the position during the May 15 Stargate Board meeting. The person appointed will serve until the Fall election and then - if they want to continue to serve - would need to run for the seat.
