State of the School - Slides Available

Each spring the Board hosts an annual "State of the School" presentation to the community. This year's "State of the School" was held on April 15 via web meeting. It included:

  • Service Recognition Awards
  • Committee Highlights for 2019-20
  • 2018-2019 Test Scores
  • Parent and Staff Survey Results + Leadership Response to SAC Recommendations
  • Update on Board Goals from the 2019-20 Strategic Plan

About the State of the School Meeting

The structure and timing for the State of the School meeting is documented in Stargate's bylaws:  

In addition to the Regular Meetings...  the Governing Board of Directors, in conjunction with the School Accountability Committee, shall also hold a “State of the School” presentation no later than twenty days prior to the annual election. The “State of the School” shall include but not be limited to the results of survey results, financial status, fundraising and progress on educational goals. The State of the School presentation shall be posted on the school website within ten days of the public presentation.
