Stargate Governance 101:
Why should I vote in the fall election? Your voice is extremely important for the fall election. Not only do you get to choose the team to fill in the Accountability Committee (the committee that provides recommendations to the Board on community needs and confirms the Unified Improvement Plan that is submitted to the District as part of our Charter agreement), but we will have another vote for the proposed Bylaws changes. We need 371 people to vote in order for the Bylaws voting to count. You can see the proposed changes on the governance website or you can send them to Your voice is critical for this vote.

This round we'll have an incentive for voting. Once you vote, print your confirmation page, write your name on it, and turn it in to the front desk. If we get enough votes to ratify the election, we will hold a drawing for a prize (details to come). Don't miss out on your chance to be heard!

If you have a question for the board, please send an email to

Fall Elections:
Voting for representatives for the Accountability Committee and the Bylaws question will be open September 21-25. Ballot instructions will go home on Monday, September 21

Board Thank You:
A big thank you from the Board to all of the Community Relations Committee volunteers that put together another fantastic movie night. It was great event that pulled our community together.

Another thank you from the Board to all the families (adults and kids) that helped out during Curriculum night with the Technology Session. This was a big step helping our community stay connected.
