News from the Board:

"In case you missed it": The latest business meeting of the Board was held on February 13th. For those not able to attend, here are some highlights: The Board received an update from Mrs. Hischke on the amazing 5/6 class project on mapping, reviewed the initial proposal on safety improvements, discussed specials programming, approved 2013 election dates, reviewed the 2nd quarter financial report, discussed the proposed document management policy and communication pathways policy, approved the policy for Gifted/Talented Endorsements of the teachers, and continued work on the key performance metrics to support the strategic plan.

In addition, the Head of School Search Committee met on February13th. They continued to evaluate applications and narrowed the number of candidates. The job posting itself closed on February 15th.
