Dear Stargate Community - 

We are excited to announce that on April 3rd, the Board voted unanimously that Michael Henderson is the finalist under consideration for the Executive Director of Academics position.

The Board and administrative team are pleased to introduce Mr. Henderson to our community and invite you to review his background and qualifications. We are confident that he will be an excellent addition to the Stargate Community.  (Executive Director of Academics – Finalist Information)

At our next Board Meeting on April 17, 2019 the Board will consider offering the Executive Director of Academics position to the selected finalist.

As discussed at the Board meeting last night, the Board selected Mr. Henderson as the most qualified candidate based on his leadership principles, his executive director experience, his experience as a principal, his experience working with special populations, his knowledge of Colorado charter school law and his demonstrated ability to receive input from many different stakeholder groups (i.e. parents, staff, parent run boards, charter authorizers and school districts) while keeping the students and the school’s mission and vision at the core of executive level decision making.
