Board Approved Resolutions in Support of Upcoming Ballot Measures This November there will be two ballot measures presented to the voters that if passed would impact school funding. On October 17, 2018 the Stargate School Governance Board of Directors passed resolutions in support of both. Ballot Issue 5C - Adams 12 Mill Levy Override The Adams 12 Board of Education is requesting voters to approve a property tax increase that would raise an additional $27 Million for Adams 12 Five Star Schools, including charter schools.
Amendment 73 - A statewide education funding measure Amendment 73 will require support from 55% of the votes cast by Colorado residents. The tax increases would raise an additional $60 Million for Adams 12 Five Star Schools, including charter schools. The Adams 12 Board of Education has passed a resolution to support Amendment 73.
