PurposeThe goal of the Fundraising Allocation Committee is to distribute funds, as well as to provide recommendations to the Board for how to allocate funds raised by the Fundraising Committee. The Fundraising Committee is both an advisory and action committee. As such, its members help shape and direct internal requests for funds. ActivitiesThe Fundraising Allocation Committee meets once a trimester and more as needed. Funding RequestsAny current Stargate stakeholder or current Stargate student can submit a request for Fundraising Allocations using the link posted on this page. Requests will be prioritized based on impact to students, programs and teachers. If you have questions, please reach out to your Primary or Secondary school principal. Requests that exceed $5,000 must be approved by the Governance Board. Meeting Notices Everyone is welcome at our Fundraising Allocation Committee meetings; however, parents and staff are not allowed to participate in the discussions unless requested by a committee member.
