Charter School 101

At Stargate Charter School, we’ve spent more than 20 years building a nurturing and thoughtful educational community for intellectually gifted learners and their families. It is a place where academic excellence is valued, and learning is celebrated as a lifelong process. We support the unique academic and social needs of each student, and encourage students to share their passions and values with civility and openness.

  • Charter schools are public schools

  • Charter schools do not teach religion

Active Participation - Critical to Stargate Success

Charter schools like Stargate succeed when there's a strong partnership between parents, teachers, students and the broader community. Charter schools create an environment in which parents can be more involved, teachers are allowed to innovate, and students are provided the structure they need to learn. However, these unique learning environments require commitments from community members that may go beyond expectations for a traditional boundary school.
